Powerball prizes require how many numbers?

Regular Powerball tickets cost $2. Pick five numbers from 1 to 69 and a Powerball number from 1 to 26 to play.

If your six numbers match the drawn, you win the prize. If any of your numbers show up, you can also win lesser prizes (see below).

Add a Power Play for $1. This doubles prizes by two, three, four, five, or 10 depending on the multiplier number drawn from the hat before the draw.

The jackpot doesn't include Power Play, and the multiplier is never higher than two if you win the $1m second prize.

Powerball jackpot winners can get their money in a single sum or in 29-year installments.

Powerball organizers explain the jackpot difference: “The annuity is invested in government bonds over 29 years, allowing payments to increase by 5% each year.”
